Based in Northern California, Troy Barr operates T-Roy’s Guide Service and is the guru of Lake Berryessa kokanee fishing. Barr concentrates on Berryessa from April through September where his boat often lands the largest kokanee in the state. When the kokanee bite peters out, Captain Troy Barr migrates to the Upper Delta and Sacramento River where he targets king salmon from late September through November. Shanna Campbell is originally from Arizona, moved up to the PNW about 16 years ago. She's been fishing since she was about four years old with her dad. Shanna loves to fish for Steelhead, but says "they don't like her much!" Another thing she loves is to go out to the lake and catch bass, trout and kokanee! She fishes for fun and normally gives her fish to the homeless or friends. Three years ago she wanted to do something to help our fisheries thrive and that's where "Make The Salmon Runs Great Again" came alive! Josh Newsom was born and raised in Southeast Idaho, he began making ripples at a young age fishing rivers and streams surrounded by his family. In 2010, Josh's wife, Ashley; the mother of their 4 children, fulfilled his childhood dream of 25 years to fish an anglers paradise, Alaska. And he has been back every year since. A true fan of steelhead fishing, Josh frequents his favorite areas in Northern Idaho for massive B-run Steelhead and Chinook salmon. You will never find Josh far from his Koko Leaf Watermelon Silver Skalez lure, his go to for most ocassions. His passion sends him all across the US in search of the fight, serenity and beauty that only fishing provides.
Born and raised in Northern California, Mike Barton, age 52, is an avid outdoorsman who has had a passion for fishing since he was a young kid. His favorite pastime is trout fishing for “Walter,” the elusive HUGE brown trout, that’s lurking in a lake in the High Sierras. He looks forward to throwing Silver Skalez’s Dizzy Devil red, silver, or blue lure on his favorite mountain lake in his Hobie kayak. When not fishing, Mike enjoys spending time with his family at his home near Sacramento, California, follows professional fishing, plays the occasional round of golf, and dreams of his next hunting trip. Michael Raptakis is from Sacramento, CA. The fishing that he does most is river and ocean Salmon fishing. His favorite Silver Skalez Tackle lure would be a custom Salmon Spinner that was created with a silver top blade and chartreuse bottom blade with the cotton candy pearls. Joe Heinlen is from Toutle, Washington and is the owner of Lake Chelan Adventures. Him and his partner Mark Lippincott provide guided fishing adventures on Lake Chelan for land locked Chinook Salmon, lake trout, cut throat trout and kokanee. He has been guiding Lake Chelan for over 20 years and is a very reputable and knowledgeable guide in his area. His passion in life is and always will be fishing over most everything. Travis Porter is from Hollister, California. He is the proud father of six kids, and lucky to be married to his favorite fishing partner. He started hunting and fishing at a young age with his father. Fishing is his passion! He is a multi species fisherman and mainly targets Striped Bass, Trout, Kokanee, and land locked Salmon. Jared lives in the center of the Midwest in a little town named Ida Grove IA. Jared grew up in Nebraska with a lake in his front yard and a river in the back yard. Jared also lived in Minnesota for 16 years and was a Clam Pro Staff Member for a long time and became great friends with a lot of the worlds top fishermen. Jared has done many shows and exhibitions across the U.S. and Canada for ice fishing, freshwater, and saltwater fishing, he was also a guide in Minnesota for many of years. Jared says "I just flat out love to fish! My favorite lure is a Silver Skalez Tackle Ice Glow Jig in both tungsten and lead."
Kenny Jones lives in Boise Idaho and has lived in Idaho most of his life. Kenny enjoys fishing for Salmon, Steelhead, Kokanee, Bass, Crappie, Perch, Catfish, Sturgeon, and his favorite is Trout. Kenny fishes in Cascade Lake in summer and fishes Anderson Ranch for Kokanee and land locked salmon. Kenny enjoys traveling to new areas to learn new techniques and then sharing with others. Kenny’s go to for trout is Silver Skalez Tackle’s Melon Burst M-Pex paired with a pink Splatter Paint Dodger. For Kokanee, he runs a Silver Skalez Tackle Koko Leaf in red prism or glow pink. When not fishing, Kenny is either with family or sleeping, dreaming of his next fishing trip.
RJ Schulze was born and raised in Northern California, and has been fishing the mother lode lakes since he was old enough to hold a rod. He is primarily a bass fisherman, but also chases fall stripers and native trout from time to time. He has been fishing competitively for the last 4 years. He primarily fishes the Mother Lode lakes, but also competes and fishes on the California Delta. He awesome work schedule allows him to be able to be on the water a few times a week.
Dave Habets is a 41 year old avid fisherman based out of Salt Lake City. He has been chasing Kokanee for over 10 years and the big lake trout for the last 8 years. Dave likes to fish Flaming Gorge Reservoir, Strawberry Reservoir, or any place he can get out and fish. When Dave is on his boat he recommends the Silver Skalez Tackle Glow Eye Dodgers in pink or silver paired with the Nano Shrimp in lilac rose, pink grass, or hot pink and tipped with one pink and one green Gulp maggot on each hook. Mitchell McClelland is from a small town called Bellrock, Ontario Canada. He’s been a hardcore fishermen since before he can remember, getting out on the water or ice every chance he gets. During the summer season, he takes his boat out on local and non-local lakes to look for bass, as well as competing in tournaments. In the winter, he’s out on the lake the minute its safe, on the hunt for lake trout! His go-to lures are the Silver Skale’s Dizzy Devil Spoons. When he isn’t fishing, Mitchell enjoys hunting, spending time with family and friends, and thinking out when he will be fishing next! He is also hoping to start a guiding career in order to share his knowledge and experience with everybody else.
